From the late 1950s through to 2008, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi openly engaged with the world’s leading media outlets—routinely issuing press releases, holding press conferences, publishing advertisements, and promoting his projects, programs and events—and was frequently interviewed for television, newspaper, and magazine outlets. Maharishi’s comprehensive media campaign included discussion of his teachings on Vedic Science, the Science of Creative Intelligence, the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi program, health, education, government, defence, industry, modern science and research, and a host of other important social and knowledge-related topics. Maharishi’s campaign was also the subject of countless newspaper articles in multiple languages covered by virtually every major newspaper and news outlets in the world. The purpose of this source book is to document—by means of 1,504 press releases, advertisements and newspaper articles—Maharishi’s lifelong message as it appeared in the world’s print media.
