Dr Geoffrey Clements

Dr Geoffrey Clements is Chairman of Commonwealth Infrastructure Partners, London, and Visiting Professor at Symbiosis Institute of Management, Hyderabad. He obtained his DPhil in Applied Physics from the University of Sussex. During his doctoral studies, he was mentored by Nobel Laureate, Prof Sir Nevill Mott, Cavendish Professor of Physics at the University of Cambridge. He was a founding faculty member of Maharishi European Research University in Switzerland; Chairman of Maharishi Foundation, Great Britain; and European Director for Maharishi Foundation.

Geoffrey is a specialist in organisational development and capacity building for infrastructure sectors. He has conducted programmes for Indian government ministries and companies, and led the project to develop the Master Plan for Solar City, Gandhinagar in Gujarat. He is a regular speaker at conferences organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry and by Horasis, the Global Visions Community, dedicated to the development of sustainable emerging markets. He is a Visiting Professor at leading universities and business schools in India, including IIHMR University in Jaipur, Rajasthan and the Institute of Management Technology, Hyderabad, and teaches courses on topics including project management, entrepreneurship, innovation and geopolitics.
